THE MAGIC OF BALLET

(international ballet classes, 3 – 6 y)

Our ballet classes follow the curriculum of the Ljubljana Conservatory of Music and Ballet, but are tailored to each child’s age, abilities and level of training.

The programme is carefully structured so that each exercise builds naturally on the previous one, supporting steady progress in line with the official pre-ballet curriculum. Our teaching approach fosters discipline, musicality, elegance of movement and a lifelong appreciation of dance, while ensuring that every child develops at their own pace in a positive, supportive environment.

Together, adults and children create a safe and holding environment where children can feel relaxed, confident, and free to move in their own rhythm. Sharing dance time strengthens the bond between parent and child, turning dance into a joyful experience filled with connection, laughter, and positive feelings.

Each class begins with a warm-up, followed by exercises that develop strength, coordination, posture and flexibility, with particular attention to the feet, core and back. The lesson concludes with stretching exercises that promote flexibility and healthy physical development.

New ballet movements are introduced step by step at the barre, allowing students to build a strong technical foundation. As their confidence and skills grow, they progress to performing the exercises with one hand on the barre and eventually in the centre.
